Minister Cynthia Grant BIO

Cynthia Grant was born and raised in Henry County Virginia.

She accepted the Lord as her personal Savior an early age.  She moved to Greensboro, North Carolina in the early eighties.  She was blessed with a handsome son named Michael and a beautiful daughter named Jasmine.

Her hobbies are traveling, water aerobics, dancing and having fun.

Cynthia received her Ministerial  License and preached her first sermon entitled  “Love  From the Heart”  1 John 1:7-14 on October 10, 1999.  She was ordained on July 28, 2002 by Pastor Joseph Duke at Outreach Baptist Church.   In February 19, 2008 she received her Diploma in Biblical Studies from the seminary Extension of Southern Baptist Convention.

She is currently a member of Love Fellowship Believers, Inc. under the leadership of Pastor Kevin G. Webb where she serves as Associate Minister.  She also serves on other ministries such as the Advisory, Program and Kitchen Ministries as well as a member of the Worship and Praise Team.   She also serves as the Chaplin of the Sister Network of Greensboro.  Her purpose of joining Sister Network is to encourage others that may be dealing with breast cancer.  Cynthia says she is a forever survivor not a five years survivor.   Her faith increased while she was battling breast cancer.  Her life scriptures are Hebrews 11:1 “Faith is the substance of things hope for and the evidence of things not seen” and Proverbs 18:21 “Death and life is in the power of the tongue; and they that love shall eat the fruit thereof”.

Minister Grant’s motto is,  “Worry looks  around,  Sorry looks back,  Faith  looks up.   Keep the Faith!!!”

In November 15, 2011, she founded Speak Life Ministries standing on the word of Proverbs 18:21.  She is a people person who connects with everyone she meets.  She shares her testimony to encourage others along the way.  Her main purpose in life is to lead others to Christ.  She also believes that encouraging others to know that life and death is in the power of the tongue and that we can live life to its fullness.   She loves the Lord with all her heart and believes that if you trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your  own understanding, in all your ways acknowledging Him, and He shall direct your path.
